Job summary

MiLa is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of our facility’s boiler room and plant equipment. You will monitor, repair, and optimize ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, pumps, valves, and air systems to ensure consistent production and safe operation.

The role requires prior maintenance experience in manufacturing, familiarity with safety standards, and the ability to work with ERP/CMMS tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing maintenance including machinery.
• Knowledge of ammonia central systems and boilers is preferred.
• Basic safety knowledge and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and monitor boilers and related equipment.
• Control water, steam, and air outputs to meet demand, including emergencies.
• Test and adjust water treatment chemical levels as part of maintenance.
• Inspect equipment and safety devices; log repairs and conditions.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and assist with remedial actions.
• Perform minor repairs such as replacing meters and fixing joints.
• Maintain a clean, safe boiler room and assist with annual inspections.
