Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Maintenance Tech A for Night shift to maximize uptime and reliability of manufacturing equipment. The role emphasizes precision maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a hands-on production environment.

The technician will perform PM, PdM, and CBM while ensuring safety standards and documenting maintenance activities. Collaboration with operations and mentorship of less-experienced staff will be part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Strong background in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Proven mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment.
• Maintain mechanical systems (bearings, motors, gearboxes, belts, chains, pulleys).
• Service conveyors, piping and utilities (steam, air, water).
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems for optimal performance.
