Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician 2 to join our facilities team on the night shift, Thursday through Sunday. This full-time position covers preventive maintenance, quick response to issues, and safety compliance for electrical and plumbing systems.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience as a maintenance worker in a commercial setting, with knowledge of basic electricity and plumbing.

• 3 years of maintenance experience in a commercial setting, with knowledge of basic electricity and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Responds to calls within established timeframes and documents work orders.
• Performs preventive maintenance (PM) as scheduled.
• Evaluates service requests and coordinates with engineers when needed.
• Notifies when additional resources are required to complete work.
• Replaces light bulbs and tubing per re-lamping schedule.
• Adheres to safety equipment requirements and OSHA standards.
