Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 10:00 PM–6:30 AM shift in Hendersonville, NC. You will lead the maintenance team, drive equipment reliability, and coordinate with production to minimize downtime while controlling costs.

The role requires 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, PLCs, and experience with CI/CMMS tools. Travel and varied hours may be required as part of ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher.
• 5+ years of direct supervisory/leadership experience.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience with progressive responsibility.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems, PLCs and basic programming.
• Experience in continuous improvement and managing multiple priorities.
• Experience building relationships with internal customers.
• Strong team builder and team player.
• Effective communication across all levels of the business.
• Familiar with Maintenance Reliability and Continuous Improvement tools/techniques.
• Familiar with CMMS software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%, ability to work varied hours including weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the maintenance team to meet repair and preventative maintenance goals.
• Set expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Schedule repairs to minimize downtime and ensure production uptime.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign work orders to support production schedules.
• Coordinate with QA and Production for equipment modifications to reduce costs.
• Provide hands-on guidance for electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Manage the maintenance work order program and maintain cost balance; back-up for staff.
• Maintain parts room and ensure efficient processes.
• Lead staff evaluations, attendance, vacations, and disciplinary reviews.
• Perform other related duties as required.
