Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead planned, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on the plant floor. You will oversee safety, quality, and environmental compliance while coordinating with production and planning teams to prioritize work and improve reliability.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication skills, and a track record of supervising maintenance personnel in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• At least five years of manufacturing or maintenance-supervision experience.
• Experience supervising industrial maintenance personnel.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with drive systems and transmissions.
• Experience with SAP or comparable CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team's compliance with safety, quality, food safety, and environmental requirements.
• Review planned job packages for labor requirements, materials, replacement parts, work methods, permits, and priorities.
• Assign work orders and provide each team member with a complete workload at the beginning of the shift.
• Spend at least 60% of the shift on the production floor engaging with maintenance mechanics.
• Provide technical support and guidance to ensure maintenance jobs are completed correctly.
• Coordinate with planners and schedulers to manage the maintenance backlog and establish work priorities.
• Lead safety-awareness and information-sharing meetings.
• Maintain SAP documentation of labor hours, materials, and equipment conditions.
