Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the night shift to support a manufacturing operation. The role focuses on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to keep equipment safe, functional, and efficient, while assisting with troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical issues.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, documenting activities on a tablet, and collaborating with production and maintenance staff to maintain maximum production efficiency

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical knowledge is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and failures on the plant floor.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct equipment malfunctions.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment in a thorough and safe manner.
• Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Train production employees and other mechanics and demonstrate willingness to be trained by others.
• Utilize a tablet for documentation and communication.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
• Interface with supervisors, leads, and operators to determine maintenance scope and urgency.
• Assist contractors as needed.
