Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations on our Weekend Night Shift (Friday - Sunday 4:30PM - 5AM) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will lead a skilled team of maintenance professionals responsible for supporting critical production and facility equipment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial experience.
• Previous supervisory, team leadership, or people management experience.
• Experience supporting high-performing teams and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance professionals, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, and safety teams to prioritize work and deliver business objectives.
• Drive rapid problem-solving efforts and implement sustainable corrective actions to improve equipment performance.
• Promote a safe and compliant work environment through training, audits, and adherence to established procedures.
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve reliability, cost, and asset utilization.
• Support budgeting, labor planning, inventory management, and capital improvement initiatives.
• Develop team capabilities through training, coaching, succession planning, and career development activities.
