The ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership experience, strong knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems and industrial drives, and SAP CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing or maintenance supervision experience.
• Experience supervising and developing industrial maintenance personnel.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with drive systems, transmissions, and related mechanical equipment.
• Basic experience with industrial controllers and processors.
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical wiring, electrical and mechanical devices, and control circuits.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial drives.
• SAP or comparable CMMS experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, quality, food safety, and environmental compliance for the maintenance team.
• Ensure all work orders, approvals, and documentation are complete.
• Attend daily shift handover meetings to review events from the previous 24 hours.
• Lead maintenance shift handover meetings and review downtime and outstanding issues.
• Represent maintenance during production meetings and communicate equipment priorities.
• Review planned job packages for labor, materials, and priorities.
• Assign workloads to team members at shift start and monitor progress.
• Manage backlog with planners and schedulers to set top priorities.
• Spend at least 60% of the shift on the production floor engaging with mechanics.
• Direct and monitor maintenance work for safety, quality, time, and cost.
• Provide technical support to ensure correct completion of jobs.
• Communicate schedule changes and job duration to production.
• Manage payroll, overtime, attendance, and adherence to policies.
• Ensure policies and SOPs are followed by the team.
• Support changeover performance and changeover parts management.
