Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Cudahy, WI. You will lead maintenance teams responsible for installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of critical equipment across plant facilities, utilities, and powerhouse, ensuring peak product flow and line uptime.

You will oversee predictive maintenance, train staff, manage maintenance systems, and develop KPIs to track performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading training, coaching, or mentoring staff.
• Able to lead problem-solving for high-level process issues.
• Food manufacturing background or similar industry preferred.
• Ammonia refrigeration background desired.
• Strong electro-mechanical skillset required.
• Strong root cause analysis background.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of maintenance systems and scheduling software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Train employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.
• Supervise maintenance systems, processes, and documentation to ensure high performance.
• Schedule maintenance in collaboration with Production to address repairs.
• Develop and implement maintenance systems (PPM/TPM, SOPs, Safety).
• Provide long-term solutions and day-to-day support for troubleshooting and equipment failures.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for maintenance performance (reliability, TPM, etc.).
• Provide regular status reports to maintenance management.
• Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inventory.
• Lead employee development and coaching for a positive working environment.
