Job summary

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2+ years of experience; strong electro-mechanical skills; ammonia refrigeration background preferred; leadership, planning, and safety focus. You will develop KPIs, train staff, and ensure compliance with USDA regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading teams and training staff or mentoring.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting for high-level process issues.
• Food manufacturing background or similar industries; ammonia refrigeration preferred.
• Strong electro-mechanical skills; knowledge of maintenance systems and TPM.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance, as well as machine repairs.
• Train employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.
• Supervise and support maintenance systems, processes, and documentation to ensure high performance.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with Production to address equipment and facility repairs.
• Develop and implement maintenance systems (Prevention and Predictive, TPM, SOPs, Safety).
• Provide long-term solutions and day-to-day support for troubleshooting and equipment failures.
• Develop KPIs and report maintenance performance, including equipment reliability and OEE.
• Provide status reports to maintenance management; ensure USDA compliance.
• Maintain maintenance records and inventory; drive positive employee development.
