Job summary

Simplot is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to direct and coordinate the plant’s process maintenance, ensuring maximum operating efficiency in a safe, cost-effective manner. You will maintain and upgrade equipment, keep the plant clean and organized, and minimize downtime across processing areas.

The role requires leading maintenance teams, focusing on safety, technical compliance, and training of subordinates while supporting night shift operations at the Idaho plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university is required.
• Technical training in electrical, mechanical, boiler, or refrigeration fields will be considered.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills are essential for daily maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

• Directs the plant maintenance program to maximize operating efficiency and safety.
• Ensure policies, procedures and contracts are followed in a fair, consistent manner.
• Identify training needs and provide coaching to subordinates to develop skills.
• Maintain equipment to the best possible condition with minimal downtime.
• Provide technical services to ensure compliance with safety, quality, sanitation and environmental standards.
