Simplot Company in Washington is seeking a Process Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance in the plant's process areas, aiming for top reliability and operational efficiency.

The role requires maintaining equipment, driving improvements, and minimizing downtime while keeping the facility clean and organized. Candidates must be willing to work nights and weekends; a valid driver's license and clean record are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university.
• 3+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, sheet metal work, millwright trade practices, and basic electrical systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and good verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the Plant Policies, Procedures and Union contracts are administered and followed in a fair and consistent manner.
• Directs the loss control program in their area of accountability, to reduce personal injury accidents, other losses, and to ensure a safe working environment.
• Attends and participates in training activities appropriate to the position and applies learned skills.
• Identifies training needs of subordinates and reinforces skill development with coaching and feedback.
• Maintains awareness of new developments and processes for potential applications to meet objectives.
• Recommends equipment, procedural and facility modifications to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Directs the process areas maintenance functions to minimize downtime and meet safety, quality, cost targets.
• Provides technical services to ensure conformance with codes and standards of safety, quality, sanitation and environmental protection.
