Job summary

Perdue Farms, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to lead maintenance operations at a plant shift, guiding technicians and driving equipment reliability to keep production running smoothly.

You will develop maintenance strategies, mentor staff, and promote continuous improvement, with relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package. A bachelor’s in engineering or related field, plus 3–5 years’ experience, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent).
• Experience in layout, drafting, project management, ergonomic design, Industrial Engineering, CAD operation and USDA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and directing the maintenance work plan.
• Suggest maintenance and operating procedures for new facilities.
• Develop new layouts for equipment/process installation and changes.
• Prepare estimates for equipment, materials, labor; supervise repairs.
• Review work orders and help set maintenance policies and standards.
• Maintain preventive maintenance using CMMS to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Identify chronic maintenance issues and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with USDA regulations and quality standards.
