Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years related experience.
• Experience in layout, drafting, project management, ergonomic design, Industrial Engineering, CAD Operation and USDA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, organizing and directing the development of the maintenance work plan; assigns methods and procedures.
• Assists in recommending maintenance and operating procedures for new facilities prior to and during contraction.
• Develop new layout designs for installing new equipment/processes, as well as changes to exist.
• Prepares estimates of needed equipment, materials, supplies and labor. Supervises the repair of all types of building, mechanical and structural problems.
• Reviews completed work orders; assists in establishing work policies, maintenance and repair standards.
• Develops, maintains and updates preventive maintenance program using CMMS to increase reliability and minimize downtime.
• Identifies chronic maintenance problem areas and recommends actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensures Maintenance Department adheres to USDA regulations and plant quality control standards.
