Job summary

Marmon Utility LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Seymour, CT to support day-to-day equipment repairs and preventive maintenance. The role requires 5–10 years of hands-on mechanical experience and the ability to read blueprints, troubleshoot, and work with pumps, valves, and piping.

This is a full-time, onsite position with a Fri-Sun 7:00pm-7:00am shift and training shift earlier in the week. We offer comprehensive benefits from day one, including health/dental/vision, 401(k) with company

Qualifications

• 5-10 years hands-on mechanical experience.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints identify parts and research part numbers.
• Knowledge of pumps, valves and piping.
• Basic knowledge of electricity is a plus.
• Ability to work with others in maintenance and machine ops.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment.
• Complete preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Make repairs to piping systems (black iron, stainless steel, brass, plastic).
• Respond to emergencies/outages and perform quality checks.
• Document and maintain maintenance records in the system.
• Support lean initiatives related to maintenance.
