Job summary

Marmon Utility LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a multiskilled maintenance team in Seymour, CT. You will plan and supervise preventive maintenance, manage equipment performance, and coordinate with operations to minimize downtime on production lines.

Required are a technical bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in maintenance in manufacturing, and 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, plus proficiency in CAD and project management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (BSME/BSEE preferred) with extensive maintenance experience.
• 8+ years of maintenance experience in complex industrial manufacturing.
• 3+ years in a leadership role such as Maintenance Supervisor or Reliability Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
• Evaluate production equipment to determine maintenance or repairs.
• Plan work assignments and project schedules from equipment assessments.
• Develop maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with departmental budget estimates and repair project costs.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules with operations staff.
• Maintain critical spare parts lists and inventory levels.
• Track maintenance activities in the maintenance management program.
• Support Capital Expense requests with maintenance data.
• Maintain equipment documentation and ensure updates are current.
