Job summary

Marmon Utility LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Seymour, CT to lead a multi-discipline maintenance team. You will coordinate schedules, manage repairs and preventative maintenance on production equipment, and oversee vendor relationships while ensuring OSHA compliance and 24/7 coverage.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in industrial maintenance with at least 3 years in leadership, a technical degree (BSME/BSEE preferred), strong PM and root-cause analysis skills, and experience with PLCs,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of maintenance experience in complex industrial manufacturing.
• 3+ years in a leadership role such as Maintenance Supervisor or Superintendent.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; BSME/BSEE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance department operations.
• Evaluate equipment and plan repairs and preventive actions.
• Develop maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Ensure timely completion of repairs and accuracy of work.
• Assist with budget estimates and cost of repairs.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules with operations.
• Sustain equipment documentation and spare parts inventories.
• Track maintenance activities using the CMMS system.
• Support CAPEX requests with maintenance data.
• Hire, train, and evaluate maintenance staff; ensure 24/7 coverage.
