Job summary

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Level II for our Malaga – Arvin, CA facility. The role focuses on skilled maintenance, inspection, and repair of equipment and infrastructure, with responsibilities including diagnosing issues, selecting repair methods, and ensuring GMP adherence.

The candidate will join a team that values safety, reliability, and efficiency, with opportunities to train junior staff and contribute to production support during night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to be Forklift Certified and drive a forklift.
• Six months of Maintenance/Mechanical experience.
• Six months of MIG/TIG welding experience.
• Understand GMPs and safety policies.
• Able to read and understand English.
• Willing to work night shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance, inspection, and repair of facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Diagnose equipment issues and select proper repair methods.
• Lead and train Mechanic I personnel on tasks as needed.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to GMP standards.
