Job summary

3M in Rockland, MA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our night shift team. The role offers a 10:00 PM–6:30 AM schedule with a six-month training period on days.

Starting pay is $34.52/hour plus a $2.00/hour shift differential, plus paid vacation and core benefits from day one. Qualified candidates bring at least two years of industrial maintenance experience, the ability to read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to pass 3M testing as part of selection.
• 18+ years of age or older to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment per PM plans and manuals.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and align mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic components.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical equipment and components such as VFDs, relays, motors, and transformers.
• Work safely and efficiently, independently or in teams, following policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly with all staff to support effective operations.
