Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee a team of 10–15 technicians responsible for the operation, repair, and upkeep of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The role blends technical expertise with leadership to maintain safety, efficiency, and uptime.

You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate preventive and corrective work, and manage schedules while enforcing safety standards and documenting all activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably high-volume or injection molding.
• Previous leadership or lead technician experience directing others.
• Strong troubleshooting in injection molding machines, automation, and mech/electrical systems.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, electrical/mechanical schematics, and ladder logic.
• Basic computer skills incl. CMMS and MS Office; strong communication and time-management.
• Technical degree or equivalent certifications; automation or controls training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: supervise, train, and support maintenance staff; delegate tasks and monitor performance.
• Maintenance Operations: coordinate and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
• Scheduling & Planning: organize daily work schedules, prioritize tasks, and respond to urgent repair needs.
• Safety & Compliance: enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Documentation: maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment status.
• Inventory Management: monitor and manage tools, parts, and supplies.
• Overtime & 3rd shift: ability and willingness to work overtime; capable of 3rd shift (10 pm - 6 am).
