Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Maintenance Laborer in Georgetown, OH. You will maintain the maintenance facility grounds, operate various tools, and ensure safe operation of equipment while supporting multiple lines of business. This role requires ability to work nights and weekends as needed and interact professionally with customers.

Shift: Sunday-Thursday 6pm-8am. Candidates should be comfortable working outside in changing temperatures and weather, with a strong work ethic and safety

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic.
• Safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility grounds and surrounding areas, including shop cleaning and general housekeeping.
• Operate hand-held, electrical, and gas-powered tools and equipment.
• Maintain safe operating condition of equipment and tools per rules and regulations.
• Pressure-wash and perform minor repairs to tools, bins, and shop-based tasks.
• Drive safely while transporting, loading, and unloading shop supplies, parts, and tools.
• Assist with general housekeeping of maintenance shops and offices.
• Perform minor repairs and upkeep of the maintenance facility.
• Clean, prepare, and paint containers as needed.
• Interacting professionally with internal and external customers.
• Assist with various lines of business or projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
