Job summary
Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in our Aurora, OH facility. This on-site role supports a 12-hour night rotation, with a 2-2-3 schedule and a pay rate of $34.10–$36.70 per hour plus a $2.10 per hour premium for night shifts.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, PLC troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics and diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
Qualifications
- Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and read schematics.
- PLC troubleshooting is required; PLC programming is a plus.
- Welding experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
- Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
- Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and reading ladder logic.
- Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
- Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
- Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
