Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for the night shift based in Bradford, PA. The role involves troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems on production equipment to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Primary duties include following safety policies, reading schematics, installing and testing electrical components, and training production staff. Evening/overnight hours and occasional travel are required.

Qualifications

• Two year Associate Degree in electrical related field is a plus.
• Minimum of five years industrial maintenance electrician experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal/external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs electrical and electronic control systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance on production equipment and buildings.
• Reads drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to layout equipment installations.
• Installs, maintains and tests electrical wiring, switchgear, motors and related components.
• Trains production employees in proper operation and maintenance of machinery.
