Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production goals on a UD Fill line during the B1 shift (7:00am–7:30pm) with Thursday/Friday/Saturday and every other Wednesday schedule. You will diagnose and repair production equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and complete documentation in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities include keeping a clean work area, adhering to safety policies, assisting with changeovers, and training less experienced mechanics to ensure timely delivery

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree in a related field with 2–3 years of maintenance experience OR High School/GED with 3–5 years in maintenance.
• Mastery in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and compliance with SOPs.
• Regulatory experience in a cGMP or FDA environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and English communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based computer systems and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized work area during and after each shift.
• Assist in achieving safety and environmental goals by following policies.
• Perform maintenance per SOPs and cGMP requirements and complete documentation.
• Stay current with SOPs and training related to the job.
• Repair/maintain production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime.
• Set up and changeovers for production equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate corrective actions.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities thoroughly.
• Provide guidance to less experienced mechanics on PMs and changeovers.
