Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a production operator for our Nebraska facility. The role involves operating, setting up and adjusting production equipment and performing routine maintenance as needed.

You will monitor machinery, inspect parts for quality, complete production paperwork and ensure safety practices are followed. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma.
• Preferred: High school diploma with approximately six months work experience.
• Special equipment or other requirements: Must purchase basic hand tools; lifting up to 50 lbs; pushing/pulling may require greater exertion.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up and adjust production equipment as required.
• Monitor equipment and notify supervision or setups in case of malfunctions that cannot be corrected.
• Inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Service equipment as required (e.g. grease, lubricant, coolant).
• Approve inspection reports.
• Meet established production standards.
• Complete paperwork including production, productivity, inspection, downtime and SPC charts.
• Train employees new to the position or area as required.
• Keep area clean and safe.
