Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of machining experience preferred.
• Requires the use of complex drawings, shop mathematics, and precision measuring instruments.
• Able to judge sequencing of set-ups and operation of CNC lathes.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Fast-paced work environment adaptability.
• Computer literacy.
• Parker QCD Basic Shop Course completed.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set-up and adjust CNC lathes, including multiple spindle machines.
• Suggest tooling improvements for materials and cutting conditions.
• Plan operations, install chucks and offsets, set tooling, and program/data edit as needed.
• Inspect parts for dimensional and finish conformance; rectify deviations and notify lead.
• Maintain tooling inventory and cleanliness; handle parts carefully.
• Support continuous improvement and TPM activities.
