Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Kearney, Nebraska is seeking a Production Operator to operate, set up and adjust production equipment to meet daily throughput and quality standards. This role collaborates with maintenance and setups to troubleshoot and improve processes.

You will inspect parts, document production data, and adhere to safety and quality procedures while maintaining a clean, organized workspace. A high school diploma and basic hand tools are required, with lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma.
• Preferred: High school diploma with approximately six months work experience.
• SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must purchase basic hand tools. Position requires lifting up to about fifty pounds. Pushing or pulling objects may require greater exertion.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up and adjust production equipment as required.
• Monitor equipment and notify supervision or setups in case of malfunctions that cannot be corrected.
• Inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Service equipment as required (grease, lubricant, coolant).
• Approve inspection reports.
• Meet established production standards.
• Complete paperwork including production, productivity, inspection, downtime and SPC charts.
• Train employees new to the position or area as required.
• Keep area clean, orderly, and free of obstruction.
• Observe safety rules and report unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Ensure quality and safety of own work and compliance with all procedures.
