Job summary

RTX in North Berwick, ME, seeks a Facilities & Services Technician – Machine Repair to repair, modify and maintain machine tools and shop equipment on a 3rd shift (11:30pm–7:00am).

You will read schematics, apply hydraulics and pneumatics, and ensure safety, with occasional work at heights up to 20 ft and overtime as needed. RTX offers a comprehensive benefits package and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1+ years of related experience or a completed technical certificate / post-secondary degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Repair, construct, overhaul or modify machine tools and related shop equipment.
• Set up and operate general purpose machine tools to make or repair parts.
• Read and interpret shop sketches and electrical/mechanical schematics.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems using hydraulic/pneumatic principles andNC basics.
• Work safely and communicate clearly with tradespeople and vendors.
