Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Machine Operator for 12 Hour Nights to ensure safe and efficient production of molded products and prepare items for shipping. Responsibilities include verifying specifications, operating machinery within cycle times, trimming, inspecting quality, and maintaining a clean workstation.

The role requires good communication, safety focus, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and comfortable with indoor environments and chemical use. EOE/Vet/Disability.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate verbally or in writing.
• Demonstrates safety orientation and awareness.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Environmental conditions: mostly indoor, warm in summer.
• Occasional use of cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Reviews the production specifications of each product SKU scheduled for production prior to shift and asks clarifying questions
• Removes product from machine in adherence with machine cycle time to maintain scheduled production
• Trims, files or cuts excess flash from the product using required tools in accordance with product specifications
• Inspects each piece to ensure that it meets quality standards and customer specifications
• Adheres to all established safety procedures and keeps a clean, organized workstation
