Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in York, PA is hiring a Machine Operator for a night shift (7pm–7am) on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule, including every other weekend. You will operate plastic blow molding machines and inline equipment to produce containers safely and efficiently.

We offer weekly pay at $24.20 per hour plus a $3.00 night shift differential, along with medical, dental, vision and a 401(k) with match, effective on day one. Strong attention to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while staying positive.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment producing containers safely and with high quality.
• Make necessary adjustments or minor repairs to maintain production efficiency.
• Perform mold, insert and color changes on the line.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on the line.
• Monitor resin, dryer, material handling and color systems for proper processing conditions.
• Communicate processing information to designated personnel on the incoming shift.
