Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Altavista, VA is seeking a Night Shift Machine Operator to run plastic blow molding lines from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. You will ensure safe, efficient production of high-quality containers and perform mold changes, line adjustments, and basic maintenance.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in manufacturing, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and with a team. Night shift benefits and safety policies apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple plastic blow molding machines safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety, quality, GMP, and company policies.
• Perform mold, insert, and color changes on the line.
• Conduct basic processing to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and line improvements.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; complete documentation timely.
• Communicate with Shift Supervisor to coordinate staff for line objectives.
• Assist in training new Operators; limited travel may be required.
