Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Machine Operator I for the Chattanooga, TN area. The role involves operating and packing, with a focus on keeping pace with production and ensuring quality. Night shifts run 6:00pm to 6:15am on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Compensation is $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, paid weekly, based on experience. The position requires safety focus, learning on the job, and training completion as determined by management. Demonstrated ability to work overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Work overtime as required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Stay safe and to continue to learn and develop.
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.

Responsibilities

• The Operator position has the responsibility of both a packer and an operator at times.
• Responsibilities include keeping up with the pace of production, packing quality product, labeling boxes and placing boxes on a conveyor.
• Maintaining and correcting both Thermoforming processes and Extrusion processes.
