Job summary

Dawn Foods is seeking a Machine Operator I to join our Louisville bakery production team. You’ll work with raw materials to complete mix formulas, prepare batches, and package products for shipping.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports.
• Effective communication with team members.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to solve problems in variable situations.
• Ability to work well with others or independently.
• Forklift certification is helpful and can be obtained.
• Computer skills are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet specifications, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards per GMP, HACCP, and related standards.
• Operate computer systems as required in production processes.
• Use auxiliary equipment as needed for production functions.
• Follow safety and SOPs to produce high-quality, food-safe products.
• Report quality or safety issues to lead or supervisor.
• Train new team members as needed.
• Support Dawn Values and teamwork.
