Job summary

Dawn Foods, a global leader in bakery manufacturing, is hiring a Maintenance Technician II for a 24/7 multi-line facility in Louisville, KY. You will install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery, ensuring safety and uptime while following GMPs and SOPs.

The role requires electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic expertise, plus welding and PLC/HVAC knowledge and strong problem-solving skills. Shifts are Wednesday–Saturday, 2:42 pm–1:12 am, with overtime opportunities per UFCW

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing or equivalent.
• Extensive experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• PLC and HVAC knowledge highly desired.
• Welding ability (MIG, TIG, Oxy/Acetylene) highly desired.
• Ability to read and interpret safety/maintenance documents and write routine reports.
• Understand and follow OSHA regulations; basic computer skills and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair industrial machinery to keep lines running 24/7.
• Perform preventative maintenance and lubrication on equipment.
• Install and repair electrical components and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Dismantle defective machines and install parts or repairs.
• Log hours in CMMS and communicate with supervisors on unresolved issues.
• Ensure repairs comply with GMPs, IFS standards and SOPs for food safety.
• Assist Quality and Production teams in troubleshooting maintenance issues.
