Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Night Shift Machine Operator to operate plastic blow molding machinery and related lines. This position runs 6:30p to 6:30a on a 3/2/3 schedule and starts at $20.60/hr to $24.95/hr, depending on experience and qualifications.

You will perform setup, adjustments, quality checks and basic maintenance to ensure safe, efficient production. Ideal candidates will maintain strict safety, quality standards and adhere to company policies while

Qualifications

• Regular, punctual attendance required.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within instructions and routines.
• Communicates effectively: conveys facts clearly both verbally and orally.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment to produce containers safely and with high quality.
• Make setup, adjustments and minor repairs to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Perform basic processing and color changes to enhance machine performance.
• Conduct on-time quality checks against established standards.
• Assist in mold changes, color changes and line adjustments as needed.
• Assist in preventative maintenance and minor line repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete required documentation.
• Support training of new Operators and communicate processing information to shifts.
