Overview:
The machine operator is responsible for the day-to-day duties in running equipment to produce quality product, safely and on-time. The working schedule will be 12-hour rotating shifts from 5:00pm – 5:00am with every other weekend scheduled.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor and maintain product quality based on established standards including visual and mechanical inspection of product, as well as work in a safe manner at all times following all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform setups in accordance with established procedures, operating, and loading/unloading equipment.
- Work from written and verbal instructions, procedures, and work orders.
- Maintain and log all information required supporting traceability and quality.
- Participate in cross-training activities.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as required or directed.

Qualifications:
- Strongly prefer candidates with mechanical ability or previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug test including medical marijuana.
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Must be able to stand up to 12 hours per day.
- Must be able to walk 8-10 hours per day for short distances.
- Must be able to push/pull up to 66 pounds multiple times per day.
- Must be able to bend 10-20 times per day.
- Must be able to squat 20 times per day.
- Must be able to climb step ladder (4-6 steps) 4-5 times per day.
- Must be able to reach 10 times per day.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to twist moving reels multiple times per day.
- Must be able to grasp, manipulate, push/pull 40-50 times per day.
- Must be able to demonstrate mechanical and computer skills.
- Must be able to multitask and troubleshoot.
