Job summary

Whelen Engineering, Inc. in Charlestown, NH is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 11:30pm–8:00am).

You will perform intermediate to advanced maintenance on SMT, wire/cable/harness, and transformer-related equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support production operations. Responsibilities include executing preventive maintenance per schedule, maintaining PM records, and coordinating with Production Control to minimize downtime while mentoring other

Qualifications

• High School w/1-3+ years’ experience or AA/AS/Technical School w/6 months experience.
• Experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems preferred.
• Ability to adapt procedures and learn new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Applies intermediate and some advanced skills within the assigned area.
• Troubleshoots, inspects, and repairs operations machinery.
• Performs preventative maintenance on production machines per schedule.
• Maintains PM records for all machines.
• Works with Production Control to minimize downtime.
