Job summary

Whelen Engineering in Charlestown, NH is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and perform routine maintenance on SMT and related machinery.

You will work Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance, coordinating with machine operators and Production Control to reduce downtime and ensure safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to work in Charlestown, NH.

Responsibilities

• Applies intermediate and some advanced skills to perform functions of the position within assigned area.
• Troubleshoots, inspects, and repairs operations machinery.
• Performs preventative maintenance on production machines per a schedule.
• Maintains and repairs electrical, pneumatic hydraulic and/or mechanical machinery in SMT, Wire/Cable/Harness, and Transformers.
• Maintains accurate records for all machinery that require a preventive maintenance schedule and/or unscheduled repair.
• Works with Production Control to minimize downtime.
• Works with machine operators to resolve machine problems.
