Job summary

Amphenol Industrial Operations in Endicott, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, collaborating with engineering to minimize downtime.

The role requires 4+ years of maintenance experience, ability to read schematics, safety commitment, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years as a maintenance technician or similar.
• Ability to read schematics and technical docs.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Work with motors, sensors, and control panels safely.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document parts used.
• Assist with CNC, Swiss lathe, DMG milling centers and presses.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and aid continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production to reduce downtime.
• Keep work areas safe, clean, and organized.
