Job summary

Theorchards Post-Acute in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for full-time NOC shifts to support the nursing team. Under RN supervision, you will perform med-passes, wound care, and routine treatments in accordance with care plans and physician orders.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents, documenting responses to treatments, and collaborating with RNs, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active CA LVN License in good standing.
• Active BLS/CPR certification.
• Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN on duty and Nursing Dept per care plan.
• Conduct med-pass and treatments as directed.
• Monitor vital signs and changes in condition; notify RN/provider.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure correct dosing.
• Maintain accurate nursing assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
• Coordinate care with RNs, CNAs and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in care planning meetings and update resident records.
