Job summary

Bakersfield Post Acute is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for all shifts in Bakersfield, CA. The LVN will provide direct nursing care, supervise CNAs, and ensure compliance with regulations and facility policies.

Responsibilities include medication administration, charting, shift leadership, and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff to maintain quality resident care. Requires CA LVN license and prior SNF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LVN program.
• Current, active LVN license in the State of California.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily functions of nursing assistants per facility policies.
• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff on shift.
• Complete and review charting, physician orders, and documentation.
• Administer medications as ordered and ensure accurate narcotics records.
