All-Shift LVN Nurse Supervisor - Skilled Nursing

Bakersfield Post Acute is seeking compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for all shifts to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs. The LVN ensures care complies with regulations and facility policies under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

The successful candidate will hold an active California LVN license, have strong clinical judgement, and experience in a skilled nursing facility. Documentation, charting, and strict HIPAA adherence are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an approved LVN program.
• Current, active, and unencumbered LVN license in the State of California.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.

Aufgaben

• Direct the daily functions of nursing assistants in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide written and oral reports regarding shift activities.
• Monitor resident conditions and notify physicians and families of changes.
• Perform skilled nursing procedures including wound care, catheterization, tube feedings, suctioning, and specimen collection.
• Take and record vital signs as required.
• Maintain a calm, respectful environment for residents and families.
