Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Associate for the Night shift (6pm-6am) in Buffalo, NY. The role involves safely handling lumber products, verifying material meets customer specifications, labeling parts, and maintaining organized work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing or lumber experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move and secure lumber products according to instructions.
• Stack finished products per bundle sizes and customer requirements.
• Label material by type, size, and count.
• Apply tags to material before/after treating/production.
• Use a staple gun and troubleshoot equipment.
• Band, bundle, and secure material with corner protectors and loading sticks.
• Ensure correct quantities and material are strapped and labeled.
• Maintain accurate inventory of tags and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Record production on production sheets.
