Job summary

Staker Parson Companies in Brigham City, UT is seeking a Lube Technician (Night Shift) to inspect diesel engines, lubricate moving parts, change oil and air filters, and perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment and trucks.

Night shift hours are approximately 4:00pm to 2:00am. A two- to three-week training period on the day shift is required before transitioning to the night schedule.

Qualifications

• MSHA and OSHA training is a plus
• Knowledge of Windows-based computer systems is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance manuals
• Two years of technical field experience servicing heavy equipment and trucks
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication, coolant, and fuel checks
• Analyze malfunctions and report diagnostics or repairs
• Operate and inspect vehicle equipment to diagnose defects
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment with hand tools
• Inspect parts for damage or excessive wear
• Use maintenance software to create work orders and document repairs
• May work in shop, yard, or at job sites
• Perform DOT inspections and brake adjustments
