Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 36 hours per week in the 3 12-hour night shift roster (7pm-7am) with every third weekend on call. This full-time role requires LPN licensure in NC, graduation from an accredited program, and BLS within 6 months unless exempt by leadership. Experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LPN training program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse licensure from the state of NC.
• BLS must be obtained within 6 months unless exempt by department leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care activities per the care plan under supervision of a nurse or physician.
• Escort and assist patients, perform examinations, and record observations and data.
• Administer and document medications and communicate orders to the pharmacy.

Education

Graduation from an accredited LPN training program

Licensed Practical Nurse licensure (NC)

American Heart Association BLS certification (within 6 months)
