Job summary

Nash UNC Health Care in North Carolina is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our on-site team for night shifts. You will participate in plan development, administer treatments, monitor patient responses, and support families during admission and discharge.

Ideal candidates hold an LPN license, complete an accredited practical nursing program, and maintain current BLS certification. Experience is not required, but strong clinical skills are essential to deliver safe,

Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
NC LPN License, BCLS.

Responsibilities

Contributes to development and maintenance of an individualized plan of care with other health professionals.
Observes and documents patient responses; reports data to the MD or RN; adjusts care priorities.
Participates in unit/department activities and CQI initiatives to improve outcomes.
Provides respiratory and nursing care, medication administration, and monitoring of monitors and IV infusions.
Assists patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
Provides support and de-escalation for frightened or aggressive patients; supports families.
