Qualifications

• No prior healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a current, goal-oriented plan of care with collaboration from the health team.
• Observes and documents patient response to treatments and reports to the responsible clinician.
• Participates in unit activities and CQI initiatives to improve outcomes.
• Provides a broad range of nursing care, medication administration, and monitoring of devices.
• Assists patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
• Supports patient and family coping and de-escalates agitation when needed.
