The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Good Samaritan Canistota provides professional nursing care to residents in long term care. Under supervision of a registered nurse or physician, you will administer medications, observe residents, and participate in care planning.

You will work night shifts on a 12-hour schedule, 40 hours weekly, with a strong emphasis on compassion, safety, and teamwork. A valid LPN license and practical nursing degree are required.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license and maintains required competencies.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medications or treatments as ordered and documents outcomes.
• Ensures health, comfort and safety of residents.
• Communicates clearly with residents, families and the care team.
