- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- Maintain required competencies and certifications; stay current with CEUs and yearly training.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor resident status.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes; maintain confidentiality.
- Communicate clearly with residents, families and care team; participate in interdisciplinary care.
