Job summary

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for the night shift in the Nursing department. The role involves 36 hours weekly from 7p to 7a, with a starting compensation of $25.40 per hour, depending on experience.

Eligible for full-time benefits, PTO, 403b retirement contributions, and annual pay increases. The LPN will work under the direction of an RN, providing direct patient care, medication administration within policy, and participation in care planning.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse in Michigan.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficient with hospital computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as delegated by the RN.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician and delegated by RN.
• Assist with care planning and documentation in the patient chart.
• Maintain clean, safe patient environment and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Support the RN in care coordination and shift handoffs.
